CT native Jacob Medina, also known as music Producer, YaBoySonny has signed on with the "Best In The Booth Song Contest", to represent some of Connecticuts finest underground producers.
Jacob, an audio engineer working with Howell Records, located in New Britain, CT, has been making beats for roughly 5 years now. Starting at the age of 14, he has produced a crisp, refreshing new sound, using a midi keyboard along with sampling. Music is his way of expression, and is a "passion and dream of his", he stated.
Jacob is in the midst of learning some new marketing techniques, building out his beat portfolio, as well as creating a website. We look forward to seeing what this talented young rising artist has to come.

Jacobs beat titled, "Going Home", was chosen out of numerous submissions by producers around the country. It was submitted by him for possible contest placement and was chosen to represent some of Connecticut's most influential underground Hip-Hop scene.
Registration for the "Best In The Booth Song Contest" will begin June 10th, 2021 and close Decemeber 25, 2021. There is a 50$ registration fee for the contest and artists will receive a leasing license for the beat they choose upon entering.
